---

I have been using Linux for nearly 2 decades.
I like linux. I want linux. I try to use linux when ever I can.
I have a machine with a Cherry Trail processor and can't get sound to work. I have been trying custom Kernels and black magic to get it to work.
I had it working on 19.10 but then I went ahead and upgraded to 20.04 Dev.
Mistake.

Thank you for your bug report, that looks like an issue in pulseaudio which segfaults, could you report it upstream on https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/issues/ ?

information type: Private → Public
summary: - no sound on Cherry Trail STILL
+ pulseaudio crashes with SIGABRT in sink_set_port_ucm_cb() from
+ pa_sink_set_port() from command_set_sink_or_source_port() from
+ pa_pdispatch_run()

Looks like this might be fixed upstream in version 14.0, with bug 1871039.
