Bug Description

Binary package hint: epiphany-browser

Since at least version 2.21.4 on Hardy, Epiphany doesn't show any JavaScript dialogs anymore.
RoundCube, for example, uses these dialogs to confirm delete actions. Typing javascript:alert("foo"); into the address bar also doesn't work anymore. The confirmation button for about:config also doesn't work; I guess this also uses some JavaScript code.

This all works as expected in Firefox and, surprisingly, also Liferea (which also uses XULRunner 1.9).

Confirmed still occurs in epiphany-browser-2.21.90-0ubuntu4. Similar problem is seen when trying to "Delete all spam messages now" in gmail, instead of popping up a confirming dialog, nothing happens.
