Bug Description

After a fresh boot and login, there is no analog output. Only HDMI and bluetooth are available.
It becomes available when I kill pulseaudio with 'pulseaudio -k' but the sound indicator only shows 'dummy' output and I cannot control the output from the sound settings or the sound indicator.

The kernel team are tracking a couple of 'sof' audio issues that relate to 10th gen Intel systems. Also there seems to be a kernel crash in i2c code that might relate to audio.

Ubuntu Kernel Bot (ubuntu-kernel-bot) wrote : Missing required logs.

This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. While running an Ubuntu kernel (not a mainline or third-party kernel) please enter the following command in a terminal window:

apport-collect 1881699

and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.

If, due to the nature of the issue you have encountered, you are unable to run this command, please add a comment stating that fact and change the bug status to 'Confirmed'.

I wonder if it's using SoundWire?

Can you please boot mainline kernel without "snd-intel-dspcfg.dsp_driver=1"?
