Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22

I use Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon.
I plug my usb drive (tried three different drives) and I get the following messages with dmesg:

[18390.164908] usb 8-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2
[18390.297564] usb 8-3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[18390.346905] usbcore: registered new interface driver libusual
[18390.405297] ide_core: Unknown symbol elv_deiueue_reruest
[18390.405325] ide_core: Unknown symbol __qelease_qegion
[18390.408398] usb_storage: Unknown symbol ide_fix_driveid

If I rmmod ehci_hcd the same thing happens:

[24804.900442] usb 5-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
[24805.068132] usb 5-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[24805.079750] ide_core: Unknown symbol elv_deiueue_reruest
[24805.079783] ide_core: Unknown symbol __qelease_qegion
[24805.082097] usb_storage: Unknown symbol ide_fix_driveid

As a result, device /dev/sdb is not created, and I can't mount it.

This behaviour was not present when I installed Ubuntu back in October. It began after some upgrade.
