Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-cups-manager

After an upgrade from Ubuntu 7.04 to Ubuntu 7.10, I found that I had two little 'printer' icons in my system tray, and two 'Printing' menu entries in my System->Administration menu.

The 'system-config-printer' one was the one that worked, and it's also the one with the official 'ubuntu' logo on it in Synaptic.

Somehow or other, it appears that gnome-cups-manager has become redundant but is not being correctly removed from my system.

I should add that I had some problems with my upgrade process. If this problem has been correctly addressed already, that's fine. But it didn't seem to work for me.

Cheers
JP
