Bug Description

Using Kubuntu 8.04 (development branch):
Starting Google Earth aplication take too many time in comparison with Debian, so I think the bug is not in Google Earth source, it is a problem of Kubuntu.
I have tested installing it directly using the script provided by Google, and also using the script "make-googleearth-package" provided by the package "googleearth-package", due to a critical bug in actual googleearth-package from Ubuntu repository, i have had to do it with googleearth-package from Debian Sid. In both installation methods there is present the same problem I say.
In addiction, konsole give me some output at Google Earth starting, i think this could be related with the problem:

###konsole output###
do_wait: drmWaitVBlank returned -1, IRQs don't seem to be working correctly.
Try running with LIBGL_THROTTLE_REFRESH and LIBL_SYNC_REFRESH unset.
###END#########

These lines do not appear in Debian.
Thanks.

If you are still experiencing the same problem, please
* Paste in output of lspci -nn | grep VGA
* Attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf
* Attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log
* Attach output of lspci -vvnn
