Bug Description

FreeNAS is a NAS server released under BSD license

FreeNAS is a complete bsd distribution, so it is not possible to include as a package in the ubuntu repositories.

You're right, the kernel of FreeNAS is BSD. All the other staff -lighthtpd, php, samba, rsync, transmission ect- should also work on Linux.
