Does it happens only with that pdf or with all you're trying to see the print preview? If It happens only with that one, may you please attach it to the report?, thanks.

that isn't possible at the moment. the ddeb repository is not up to date

  evince-dbgsym: Depends: evince (= 2.20.0-0ubuntu3) but 2.21.90-0ubuntu1 is to be installed
  libcairo2-dbgsym: Depends: libcairo2 (= 1.4.10-1ubuntu4) but 1.5.8-0ubuntu1 is to be installed

the file used is: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/11120508/online.pdf

it doesn't always crash when I open / close the print preview but it is reproducible. Some characters in this pdf are rendered really badly in the print preview (e.g. on page 53 - in the viewer they are rendered correctly) - that may be a related issue.
