Desktop icons signs are too wide

Bug Description

1.After last update (today) all my icons on desktop was messed and changed their places. Before update, long names of icons was not wide but on several lines, but after update long names are in one line - and if the name are TOO large - there is no way to align icons on desktop.

Like

Before:

    --------
   |icon |
   | |
   ---------
kde-guidance-
powermanager

After:

                   --------
                  |icon |
                  | |
                   ---------
kde-guidance-powermanager

2. If i choose "align to grid", icons doesn't move to the closest to them place in grid, but jump at random places on desktop.

Thank you for your bug report. This bug did not have a package associated with it. I have classified this bug as a bug in nautilus. I couldn't reproduce this bug on Hardy with nautilus 2.21.90. Which version of Ubuntu and nautilus are you running?

NO! Its not a Nautilus problem! Its about DESKTOP icons. I don't use Nautilus. As i know - its a GNOME file manager, but i use KDE, D3lphine. And in D3lphine icons names are all right. Its only with the names on desktop.

I can add some description:

When i choose to rename some long name ("Samsung Unified Driver Configurator" for example) - editing field is like a good one - in three lines

Thank you for the information. I will remove nautilus package from the bug report since it's not the affected package like you said. AFAIK, D3lphin is used in KDE 4, if I'm not wrong. What version of Ubuntu and D3lphin are you using? Thanks!

D3lphine 3.9.2, KDE 3.5.8, Hardy alpha 5.
But in the d3lphin everythings fine! The problem is ONLY with desktop icons.

there are two screenshots:

On first, you can see long names (look, how far from screen borders icons are)
On second, you can see renaming procedure, and the name is on three lines...how it should be.

KDE4's folderview widget for icons on the desktop doesn't have this problem.
