Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
In hardy alpha 4, nautilus 1:2.21.90-0ubuntu3, all my internal /dev/sda partitions mounted via fstab show up both as icons on the desktop and in nautilus' Places panel (ie in nautilus' left hand panel, top section).
Is this a bug or intended behaviour? It is different from the Gutsy version of nautilus, which only shows partitions that are not defined in fstab.
I find it annoying because it clutters things right up (I have lots of partitions). On the desktop, it creates lots of icons, and in nautilus it pushes all my bookmarks (ie the bottom section of the left panel) down out of the window.
If it's intended, perhaps it should be configurable? I know there's a nautilus option via gconf-editor to turn off the mounted partition icons on the desktop, but this turns off ALL of them, and it doesn't affect the Places panel.
Thank you for bug report, that's a duplicate though
