Unmounting and unplugging of USB key, PC resets

Bug Description

Ubuntu 8.04 alpha 4 i386 desktop CD

After unmounting the USB key, the PC reset the moment I unplugged the key.

Athlon 2200+ on Gigabyte GA-7VAXP Ultra mainboard (VIA KT400).

This could be a number of things, I can't help thinking that it sounds like a hardware issue like a power spike or something. If it always happens with that USB key then try a different one :) if thats the only time it happened then I wouldn't worry too much about it but definitely report if it happens again.

Hasn't happened since.
I use the 8.04 final release now.
Will report back if it happens again.
