Bug Description
Binary package hint: gimp
I use gimp 2.4.2-0ubuntu0.
when try to scale image from 2048x1536 to 1x1, gimp crashes.
terminal output:
(script-fu:11476): LibGimpBase-WARNING **: script-fu: gimp_wire_read(): error
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
It also crash with cubic interpolation or none
steps to reproduce:
1) start gimp
2) make new image with 1 layer, size 2048x1536
3) click Image -> Scale image...
4) type '1' into width and height
5) press scale
I expected to get a 1x1 px image colored with an average color of the image.

I do not get this with my PPA version (2.4.4- 1ubuntu1+ ppa1). Instead, I get messed up scrollbars.
