Bug Description

Binary package hint: konqueror-nsplugins

Every time I view a webpage, rather than looking for a flash plugin to download, Konqueror tries unsucsessfully to load the flash object. Of course I have not got anything to play the flash objects with so it can not do that, although there is something in the ubuntu install files to belive that I do have. I have tried installing flash play unsucsessfully with sudo apt-get flash ( i can not remember the last command flash or flash player). It did not work and gave me an incoherient message about being unable to complete such. Flash player does not have the correct headers or simular to download the flash player from adobe and I can not compile it. The installer is and has messed my settings up.

Not when I view a page with Konqueror (and tried to display a flash image) I get the following :

the application unknown (nspluginviewer) crashed and caused the signal11 (SIGSEGV)

a backtrace does not work... :-(
This backtrace appears to be of no use.
This is probably because your packages are built in a way which prevents creation of proper backtraces, or the stack frame was seriously corrupted in the crash.

(no debugging symbols found).

No way to install a flash player ?? Else if you try you loose Konqueror functuanality ?? K ??
There is something wrong with some packageing or other, and flash player or codecs or something, its not a Konqueror problems cause that worked until I tried to get it to play flash files.

This bug or packageing problem contains no or 0 security vulnerabilities.
