Bug Description

Binary package hint: yelp

Using Hardy, 8.04 All latest updates applied.

Today's update pushed the new kernel, 2.6.24.7 from 2.6.24.5

Booting into new kernel mounts the drive as /dev/hda instead of /dev/sda.

This is a laptop drive. The drive details are :
