xubuntu-docs cannot be built: build-depends on gnome-doc-utils

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Research shows gnome-doc-utils was added as build-depends in 11.10 to bring in xml2po. That allows for translations. Nothing appears to provide xml2po any longer with gnome-doc-utils gone. Private libraries cannot be depended upon in package building and there is no extant upstream of xml2po any longer.

How about including the xml2po program in the package source?

Otherwise I think yelp-tools provides all you need. ubuntu-docs and gnome-user-docs use that, and so did the serverguide project previously.

This bug was fixed in the package xubuntu-docs - 21.04
