Binary package hint: synaptic

Synaptic package manager cannot find 2 packages
I have installed Krusader on my laptop, that was ok.

Have you tried to click on the "Reload" button in synaptic? If that dosen't help, could you please paste the exact error message you got from synaptic?

Many thanks for your quick reponse.

Strangely, when I was going to copy the error, it dissapeared.
Krusader installed nicely.
I had tried this many times before over a weeks period.

Appreciate your help, false alarm.

I changed completely to Linux (Ubuntu) last year after serious
problems with Win-Vista. Now I use Wine for a few Win programs.
I am really surprised how you and others have now made this a
really solid and user-friendly operating system.
One year ago I checked many Linux systems and didn't find any
that could replace Windoze, so i had "dual-boot".
Not needed any more !
