Bug Description
Hey there!
I'm searching for the license under which the contents of the snap-from-source repository [1] are published. This repository is used by Canonical to build the chromium snap.
The repository does not contain any LICENSE file, and the information does not appear to be given anywhere else either.
As I'm not familiar with Launchpad, I already opened a question [2]. However, the given answers do not satisfy me.
I hope a Canonical employee can shed some light on this.
Some background: I'm maintaining a snap that is running on multiple Ubuntu Core devices. This snap uses puppeteer and therefore requires packaging a chromium instance. However, since headless chromium (snap) currently crashes on startup, which looks like a result of the changes made when switching to the gnome-extension [3], I can not build any new version, including security updates, of my snap until the headless issue is resolved. Therefore, I'm looking into the possibility of building the chromium snap myself with the changes to use the gnome-extension reverted, at least until the issue with Canonical's snap is fixed.

I'm sorry if this is not the right place for this, but I did not know where I could get a qualified answer instead.
