Bug Description

Hi! I'm using OKI 3300 printer through LAN. I need foo2hiperc driver, at this webpage:
http://foo2hiperc.rkkda.com/
My question is: can it be included in Ubuntu, like foo2zjs?? It works perfectly I've tested it with graphics and color. Maybe for Hardy?? Thanks!!

Hardy has just entered FeatureFreeze, and so it is unlikely that these can be included at this time. They may be quite suitable for the next release, and submission of policy-compliant debian-format source packages for inclusion in May would be most welcome.

Not in Ubuntu or Debian - Confirmed.

This driver is in Ubuntu, it is a part of the foo2ijs upstream tarball and therefore foo2hiperc is part of the binary package foo2zjs in Ubuntu. If you do not have this package installed, install it with

sudo apt-get install foo2ijs

Otherwise (and this is the standard case) it is enough to run system-config-printer and click the "New printer" icon.

You meant

sudo apt-get install foo2zjs

right?
