Binary package hint: gnome-system-
Every time I open Gnome System Monitor, it opens and maximizes to all entire screen. I am not able to see any os my bars neither on on top or bottom of the screen. I can not speak english very well, I am sorry; but in the next weekend I will present Ubuntu 7.10 to an entire secundary school from my PC, so i need to be free (at possible) of errors and bugs. =S

Thank you for your bug. Do you use the desktop effects option? Could you try without this one?
