la disposizione della tastiera italiana non corrisponde

Bug Description

ho ubuntu 7.10, scaricato in inglese e tradotto con i consueti pacchetti di traduzione. Ho impostato la disposizione tasti da americano-inglese a italiano, e posso scrivere tranquillamente un testo utilizando tutti i caratteri speciali della tastiera; MA QUANDO uso Gran Paradiso, sempre con la disposizione tasti in italiano, nella digitazione di un testo qualsiasi i caratteri speciali corrispondono a quelli della disposizione della tastiera americana-inglese, cosa che non succede con Firefox.
