Bug Description
Binary package hint: gamix
Alsa mixer (gamix) in Ubuntu 7.10, with VIA8237 (in motherboard) and Audigy2 ZS soundcards. GUI is so tall the bottom disappears off the bottom of the window, making it impossible to check the entire width.

Further info:
When first installed, gamix window is properly sized and arranged horizontally.
If changed to vertical with C-type the window becomes too tall and is unrecoverable with any setting in C-type.
Proper size, in horizontal, can be restored by uninstalling, restarting, and reinstalling.
Don't touch that C-type button! (what does "C-type" mean, anyhow?)
