Hi Alessandro,

I assume you see this after you boot and you're not trying to come back from Hibernation. If so, this is a harmless message. Thanks

Yes, but my system doesn't reboot or poweroff and I thought that error message was the reason.
I can only reboot and poweroff with the command line:
sudo reboot
or
sudo poweroff
This problem (reboot and poweroff) doesn't happen with my self-compiled kernel (2.6.24.2)
Thanks Leann

Ok, I see the issue now. It would be good if you would update the description of this report to include this (click on the "Edit descript/tags" link on the left hand side of this bug report). The Hardy 2.6.24-8.13 kernel was most recently sync'd with the upstream 2.6.24.2 kernel. Are you using the same Ubuntu kernel config for your custom build kernel? Thanks.

Sorry Leann !!! The problem (reboot and poweroff) happens also with my custom build kernel....This is a xserver-xorg-video-intel problem...when I reboot the system, I see a black screen with only mouse pointer
I change bug's status in invalid
Bye
