Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus-cd-burner

I tried to burn a DVD using the default Nautilus CD/DVD burning application. It started out fine but after a while the Samsung DVD drive started to make a continuous loud noise and just wouldn't stop. The LED on the DVD drive also went out but the noise continued. Nautilus had hung with a message on it saying that the DVD burning would take about 5 minutes 58 seconds.
I am using Gutsy Gibbon 7.10. running on an AMD Sempron 64 bit system with 1GB RAM.

Thank you for your bug report. Could you try if that's still an issue in hardy or intrepid and run gconf-editor, go to applications, nautilus-cd-burner and enable the debug option there, then run nautilus-cd-burner on a command line to burn the image and copy the log to the bug?
