Make rhythmbox fade out audio on stop

Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

So I listen to music in Rhythmbox, and I close rhythmbox, or press "stop" button, and instantly the music stops.
Goes from 80 decibels to 0 decibels in an instant!

Now, this isn't nice.

Make it instead "fade it out", so the volume goes down to none over the time of a second.
So it doesn't abrupt so hard. so it caresses my ears...

Also a fade out on exit, i.e. closing Rhythmbox would be nice.

I just posted on brainstorm that i once had this feature - but then i did a clean install (for other reasons) and somehow lost it in the progress.

I know realise that I'm wrong in 2 respects:

1. The reason that the feature was "gone" was that i was playing wma files; it seems to work fine with mp3s and oggs. Why it shouldn't work for wmas, i don't know

2. My music only fades in/out when i pause it; Rhythmbox does indeed abruptly cut out when you stop or quit.

So, as a "workaround", you could pause, then quit. Hardly ideal, i know.

Edit --> Preferences --> Playback tab --> Use crossfading backend
