Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
Using kdebase-workspace 4:4.0.1-0ubuntu2, clicking on "Switch user" from the K menu (in the "Leave" section) only starts KRunner (as Alt-F2 does), but does not allow to switch to another user.
I'm using Kubuntu Hardy and kdm3 as login manager. Does it require kdm-kde4 to work properly?
WORKAROUND: chose "Lock" instead and then from the unlock dialog, chose "Switch user..."

It is supposed to do that, and then when KRunner pops up you have to type this really long string command with a bunch of flags for it to work.
Just kidding, I can confirm this one. As for requiring kdm-kde4, I do not know, but when using kdm for kde3, it pops up krunner. I will look into this further and see what I find. Thanks for the report!
