Could you attach the file ~/.config/xfce4/mcs_settings/keyboard.xml ?

I don't have such file (in that directory I only have desktop.xml and workspaces.xml), and I also can reproduce this bug (I reported a duplicate: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce-mcs-manager/+bug/196234).

Please let me know, if I should provide any information that helps.

Thanks,

Urbán,
Could you test this .deb: http://gauvain.pocentek.net/tmp/mcs/xfce4-mcs-plugins_4.4.2-3ubuntu5_i386.deb ? It should fix the problem but I'd like to have a few tests before uploading it.
Thanks

Same here. desktop.xml and workspaces.xml, but no keyboard.xml.

Your new package works for me, Gauvain (except that I have no idea how to make a newly added keyboard layout the default, or how to switch between layouts; that's not part of XFCE's keyboard config panel, but then it's also not part of this bug ;-)). Thanks.

I just installed the 4.4.2-3ubuntu5 version from the repos, and that seems to have fixed the problem.
