Evolution error while getting email

Binary package hint: evolution

When first logging into Evolution and during any attempt to get email by pressing the Send/Receive button, the following message box appears:

Error while Storing folder 'Inbox'.

Following taken from Terminal using command "ps ax" and then finding the Evolution line item

           evolution --component=mail

I expected to have my email returned from the mail server. I think that it does still retrieve it as I do have current mail. I think that I get this message after the retrieval process and it also appears to be giving me mulitple copies of the same email.
