Bug Description
Binary package hint: evolution-exchange
Distribution Release: Hardy
Package: evolution-exchange 2.21.91-0ubuntu2
When the GAL address is empty (appears to happen by default) with the Exchange connector a password is asked for every time a new mail is written.
If a password is entered in the prompt with no GAL address setup it will eat up 100% CPU time on one processor (I assume repeated connect attempts to localhost?). Evolution is still responsive whilst this happens.

I am experiencing the same issue. CPU usage is very high when GAL address is not set. However, I am experiencing this throughout the Evolution session, even when it is minimized and idle (not only when choosing New Mail etc.).
I am using Hardy final release and Evolution 2.22.1
