Bug Description

Binary package hint: localepurge

localepurge could have an option to remove unneeded translations of GNOME help files in /usr/share/gnome/help
This can save more than 100MB in standard system - for example in Ubuntu 7.10 Gnome help files takes about 140 MB, as there are xml and .png files for *all* languages. None needs help files in 20 or more languages, users usually understand only 2 or 4 languages even in multiuser systems !
removing unneeded translations is pretty safe - we (Baltix Linux distro developers) do this since Ubuntu 6.06 and nor Baltix users, nor developers didn't noticed any problems.
localepurge already has an option to remove unneeded localized manpages, so, why don't allow to add one more option to remove unneeded translations of GNOME help files ?
