Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.22-14-generic

In Gutsy, the version of the binary Nvidia driver is still 100.14.19.
This version was released in September last year.

I have now a new NVIDIA GPU whose model is not supported by the old driver.

Could you please update the driver to the latest version available, 169.09.
This new version is a bug fix on 169.07 which introduced support for the following new GPU:

Added support for GeForce 8800 GT, GeForce 8800 GTS 512 and GeForce 8800M.

Hardy has the new version, but it won't be uploaded to gutsy since it doesn't fulfill the SRU requirements.
