Bug Description
In hardy, I can use nautilus to browse a remote linux server via sftp:
sftp://<email address hidden>/home/user/
I can browse the folder content and even drag the content to my desktop for a local copy.
However, when I try to drag something from my desktop to the remote server, it copies only 8 KB before stopping with a Failure message.
Incidentally, there's a crash when I abort the transfer from server -> local with the stop button -- nautilus then displays only my local home directory.

Thanks for your report. This is probably related to the gvfs backend so I'm setting gvfs as affected. If you get a crash, please report it using Apport; there are some similar crash reports already, and automatic duplicate checking should help.
