Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Firefox seems to suddenly crash halfway through running a citrix session. The problem seems to happen randomly, sometimes after the citrix session has been open for a few hours. Unfortunately, I don't have a coredump, as ulimit -c was set to 0.

Leo,

It is not clear what the connection is between the crashing Firefox process and your Citrix session. If you are starting the session with Firefox (which then crashes), then I would expect to see the Citrix ICA client plugin listed in pluginreg.dat, but it's not there. Alternatively, you could have configured the browser with the ICA client as a helper application, or be doing something else entirely. Please clarify. Putting "about:plugins" into Firefox's URI entry is probably the most reliable way to detect the plugin.

Sorry but Firefox-2 is getting near EOS and they wont be fixing anything but major issues security issues mainly. Please try to reproduce this with Firefox-3.0 if you can reproduce this bug please click on Help > Report a problem and file the bug that way. This does not mean that it wasn't already fixed.
