(Gutsy AMD64) Hangs when told to download multiple podcast episodes

Bug Description

Rhythmbox hangs when told to download multiple episodes from a feed. The hang happens after downloading the first one.

To repeat (100% reproducible for me):

- Add feed http://betty.libsyn.com/rss
- The most recent episode starts downloading
- Select next 5 episodes, right click and choose download
- Once the first episode has downloaded, the interface totally locks up. It does not redraw or anything else and the program has to be killed.

On starting it again it has no knowledge of the added feed or downloaded episode.

Gutsy AMD64 Version 0.11.2-0ubuntu4. All updates have been applied to the machine.

(I did try using the "Report a problem" menu item within the program itself but that had no effect)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. I could not reproduce the problem with an up to date Hardy as a VMWare guest.

It would however mark the downloads as failed until mp3 codecs were installed. I didn't need the codecs as the files are intended for an ipod but that is a trivial matter and easily worked around.
