composer does not load all the format options

Binary package hint: evolution
The evolution composer does give the options for font style, font size, bold, italic and few things like that. These options are visible though, but the are not in 'bold' color and they can't be selected by clicking upon them.
This evolution version is 2.12.1, and its running in ubuntu 7.10
