Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-openchrome

Ubuntu 7.10
xserver-xorg-video-openchrome version 0.2.6

If you install the OpenChrome driver using Synaptics of apt-get you get version 0.2.6, which os quite old. The newer version 0.2.9 which is available on the developers site also supports a lot of new chipsets.

Someone needs to test that this actually works and not just builds/installs (meaning you need the right hardware for the driver).
