Bug Description

I tested the following image on the Raspberry Pi 2:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/jammy/daily-preinstalled/20230217.1/jammy-preinstalled-server-arm64+raspi.img.xz

It did not boot after the rainbow splash screen. Also no output appeared on the UART interface (PIN 14 and 15).

The Pi boots into the Raspberry Pi OS stock image. A hardware defect seems unlikely to me.

I was educated that arm64 does not run on the Raspberry Pi 2. The armhf image should run there. The Testcase for arm64 should be removed.

Indeed -- things are unfortunately a little more complicated in that the generator I wrote for the test-cases [1] is too stupid to know about architecture-, or even release-, specific output, and obviously we wish to keep the tests for armhf. At some point I should figure out how to deal with that (and ... probably rewrite tools/test_case_format in Python too).

(it's even more complicated in that *some* variants of the Pi 2, specifically board rev 1.2 and onwards *can* run the arm64 tests because they have the 2837 SoC from the Pi 3 rather than the 2836 SoC, but I shouldn't confuse things further :)
