Thanks for your bugreport.

That looks like a bug in the extracted data somewhere. I can not reproduce the problem here unfortunately, could you please check if you still see it with the latest hardy updates and let me know what locale you use and if you had to do anything special to trigger it?

Thanks,
 Michael

Hi.
I found it. After removing : "language-pack-kde-de" and "language-pack-kde-de-base" the listview is back in it's normal shape. Reinstalling these packages brings the deformation back again.

After some crawling through the sourcecode i found one odd thing : in the file http://websvn.kde.org/branches/KDE/3.5/kdeedu/kverbos/kverbos/kverbos.desktop there is a empty "Comment=" line. Might this be the error ?

I have attached a patch for this file. How can i create the kverbos.po file in language-pack-kde-de, so that i can test my patch ?

Short : yes

Long : I reinstalled Hardy from the current beta-cd's, and when the *-de (german) packages from KDE installed, the deformation is back again -
IF you are searching for "verb". I can not spot it, if i scroll through the software - without the search.
