Bug Description
One of Ubuntu's design principles, it seems, is to hide the root user through use of sudo and policykit. One glaring hole in this is that users-admin (Users and Groups in the Administration menu) displays root as a user that can be modified. A standard user might not even know that a user called "root" exists, and might be surprised to see this user on the list of users.

Thanks for submitting this report and making ubuntu better.
However, I don't think this is really a bug. I would suggest that you look at http:// brainstorm. ubuntu. com/ if this issue is already entered. Otherwise you can enter it there.
I would like to close this report here, if this is ok.
Thanks
