Bug Description

[Impact]

 * Only the autopkgtest is affected, the package does not FTBFS, and the package remains fully functional.

 * Prevents migration of the Python 3.10.12 updates to Jammy (LP: #1995504). Allowing this autopkgtest to regress will prevent us from detecting more serious regressions in future.

[Test Plan]

 * Verify that the autopkgtests are successful when tested with Python 3.10.12.

[Where problems could occur]

 * The only change is the addition of a delay in the autopkgtests, it should have no impact on the usage of the package.

Thanks. Adding block-proposed-jammy since presumably it's sufficient for this to just be in jammy-proposed? If that's wrong then please explain and remove the tag.

Also is this fixed needed in Mantic? Not an important enough question to block, but I thought best to ask.

Hello Graham, or anyone else affected,

Accepted libapache2-mod-python into jammy-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libapache2-mod-python/3.5.0+git20211031-0ubuntu2 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, what testing has been performed on the package and change the tag from verification-needed-jammy to verification-done-jammy. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed-jammy. In either case, without details of your testing we will not be able to proceed.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance for helping!

N.B. The updated package will be released to -updates after the bug(s) fixed by this package have been verified and the package has been in -proposed for a minimum of 7 days.

Thanks Robie. Yes, this fix only needs to be in jammy-proposed.

We aren't seeing this issue in Mantic or Lunar with Python 3.11.
