Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
Steps to reproduce:
1. Visit the page <http://
2. Select the word "Google" at the bottom.
3. Paste into the input box.
Expected behaviour:
The input box contains the word "Google", the selection is marked.
Actual behaviour:
The same but the selection is not marked.

This works as expected in Firefox-3.0.
Can you please test with Firefox-3.0 as Firefox-2 is nearing end of life support and will only be receiving security updates and extream updates, updates that affect being able to open browser some crashes and security. This bug doesnt really fit within those choices so im going to close this bug. If you are able to reproduce this bug in Firefox-3 please report another bug report on package Firefox-3.0 by using the Help > Report a problem menu entry from Firefox toolbar.
