Bug Description

Testing my laptop as part of the Laptop Testing Team I found that my computer will not wakeup/boot correctly after hibernating. It freezes with a blank screen after loading the image and presumably restarting some devices or services. It beeps a couple of times. See syslog below.

Hibernate works fine with Ubuntu Hoary so this is a Breezy only problem.

I how no clue about what package has the bug.

Do you use nvidia driver in Xorg? If so, hibernate/sleep can be fixed.
(lid is working; it shouldn't put laptop to sleep, problems witch clock sync are known and are related to all ubuntu installations)

Please next time, bugs not related to universe packages, report to bugzilla.ubuntu.com.

Thanks you

The laptop does not have an NVIDIA grahics card. It has an ATI 7500 Mobile graphics card.

This bug report has been moved to bugzilla.ubuntu.com (bug #14807).

Thanks for telling me, Ante Karamatic! :-)
