fonts visible in open office editer, but printed as square blocks

Bug Description

2) ooffice 2.3 writer (default)
3) and 4)
I made a manuscript in Korean, using English-associated font, i.e. I used Bitstream Vera Sans for Korean. Usually it associate with some Korean font, and it seemed work lt least within the editor. Then printed it, and the output is just filled with square blocks. For example it looks like

DDDD DDD (hand) DDDD DDDDD DDDD
DDDD DDDD DDDD (face) DDDD DDDD

(here D are open square blocks)

Note that English characters are printed normally.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
