New Networkmanager 0.7, supports mobile broadband cards

Bug Description

Networkmanager version 0.7, supports new features such as GSM and CDMA mobile broadband cards. This will ease configuration and connection problems, enabling these cards to work out of the box.

Also, multiple connections can be active at the same time, and can be shared between for example wifi and 3g, or wired.

The upcoming Fedora 9 Beta has these features incorporated:

Yes, it would hopefully make connecting mobile broadband easier.

Eventually, Network Manager ideally should be able to handle all types of network connections without having to "dabble" with configuration files. That's my hope anyway.

I've had huge problems trying to get my 3 broadband USB connected, despite much confusing contradictory advice on the forums.

Tried 0.7 in Foresight, it works very well and "out of the box" with my GPRS/UMTS connection.
Due to the lots of bugs still afflicting 0.6.6, shouldn't be a bad idea to include nm-0.7 in hardy and to remove ifupdown.

NM 0.7 snapshot has been uploaded a while back to intrepid. There are still rough edges, but in general things lot good alredy.
