dpkg writes Driver "nv" but it should be "ati"

Bug Description

dpkg writes nv as Driver, although it correctly recognized my card as ATI
card.

Here is the section in my xorg.conf:

Section "Device"
Identifier "ATI Technologies, Inc. Radeon 9600 XT (RV350 AR)
"
        Driver "nv"
        BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
EndSection

Changing "nv" to "ati" made the server work again.

First time it happened after upgrading from hoary to breezy, but an
upgrade of the xserver-xorg package (just the moment) changed the Driver
again.

I cannot say accurately, because there was an upgrade. But it was
the version before 6.8.2-56.
Just tried it again and it now it worked. The driver menu (second
screen in the "gui") was not there during the last install.
So it seemed fixed.
