Bug Description

When trying to upgrade a feisty installation to gutsy `apt-get dist-upgrade`
attempts to remove apt/libstdc++-6

The feisty installation has all packages updated and backports/universe/multiverse
repositories enabled.

This behavior was said to be fixed in bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-4.1/+bug/75562
But it apparently still exists. The installed libstdc++ version is `4.1.2-0ubuntu4`, so maybe the
problem which was supposed to be fixed with `4.1.1-21ubuntu2` has been re-introduced ?

After removing `g++-4.1` and `libstdc++6-4.1-dev` (plus dependencies) the issue seemed to be fixed
and the upgrade is now in process.

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at [WWW] https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs.
