I can confirm this bug.. it's not related to the ebesucher site, firefox crashes also when you try to log in into hotmail and epiphany too it's a gecko bug

Gortiz please dont confirm crashes for a few reasons
there isnt enough info on what happened to cause crash and just because
you can duplicate it doesnt mean its the exact problem. Please file a
new bug report and attach a backtrace or enable apport by following the
instruction i add below this comment
instructions:
cd /etc/default
sudo gedit apport
change the 0 to a 1 in the first section
reboot Ubuntu
Now please try to reproduce the bug

luminea
You can either follow thee directions taht i gave Gortiz about enabling
apport or you can try to obtain a backtrace by following the
instructions at: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs
We prefer you using apport to file bugs as it gives us info needed in
most cases and its alot easier for user to enable

Gortiz i marked epiphany task invalid because it wa syou that saw it in epiphany not the original reporter and we can only have on reporter per crash bug we will mark them the same if it applies when we have all info. Also because it was filed as an upstream bug. but please follow the instructions above to file your own bug report and attach crash file or backtrace.

ffox 2 either not affected or unlikely to see a fix ...

 affects ubuntu/firefox
 status invalid

bug is actually in xulrunner

 affects ubuntu/xulrunner-1.9
 status incomplete

but we keep firefox-3.0 task open to catch dupes ...

 affects ubuntu/firefox-3.0
 status incomplete
