Desktop selector does not change on having positioned a file on

Bug Description

When you drag a file on the desktop selector it does not change active desktop.

To reproduce it do click on a file, and without giving up it drag it on the desktop selector, on one different desktop from the assets nowadays.
Now it should change the active desktop, but this does not happen.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We have been unable to recreate this bug using metacity and have been able to recreate it using compiz and libwnck. Subsequently, I'm assigning this to the libwnck package.

Thanks for the report JaViEP , It has been a long time without any comment or a duplicate in this bug report and It is possible that the bug has been fixed. May you please try to reproduce it with the latest Stable Release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal and add the respective comments to the report?
