Binary package hint: update-manager
Description of the problem:
update-manager shows all of the kernel changelog rather than the part of the changelog after the currently installed kernel.
Steps to reproduce:
(Have a kernel package update pending)
1. Start update-manager .
2. Click on a numbered package (e.g. linux-image-
3. Make sure "Description of update" is open and that the changes tab is selected.
Expected results:
Only to see changelog from linux-image-generic 2.6.24.12.13 onwards.
Actual results:
Changelog from [2.6.22-1.1] onwards is shown. The first highlighted heading appears to be Version 2.6.24-1.1: .
How reproducible is this problem?
It is reproducible every time.

linux-image-generic 2.6.24.12.13
update-manager 1:0.87.16
I forgot to add that update-manager is slow to display and uses a lot of CPU when selecting a package with a non-truncated changelog. Additionally the distro was Ubuntu hardy (development branch).
