Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

I installed 8.04 earlier today. I have a Visiontec x1300 graphics card with 512mb memory. It has worked with previous versions. I also have a TV hooked up through S-Video. On the first boot I logged in fine, and it went into the lowest resolution setting. When I went to go change it in the Screen Resolution Box, the TV display was very stretched, and the Monitor only had the desktop. I had to use the magnifier to fix it. I could not find a way to fix this. I never got it back to the original way. Now application open off the screen, acting like I have a much bigger desktop. This has brought it to an unusable state. I am using the version of 8.04 available on 4/13/08.
