Bug Description

Binary package hint: inkscape

As packaged, using libcairo 1.4.10, inkscape pdf export is seriously buggy (see inkscape bug #215902). Release notes for inkscape 0.46 indicate that libcairo 1.5.2 is a minimum if buggy pdf export is to be avoided. I've confirmed that problems seen in inkscape bug #215902 appear to be resolved using libcairo 1.6.4.

Since there is already an existing bug report in Launchpad for this particular bug it makes more sense add a task to bug 215902 concerning the Ubuntu package. I've done this already by click "Also affects: Distribution/Package" and choosing inkscape. I'm going to mark this particular as Invalid.
